@PattyGodschild To check if it’s being hacked you could look for pop-ups, battery drain, overheating, apps you don’t recognise, or settings changing by themselves. If it is hacked, update the phone, delete anything unfamiliar, review app permissions, and run a full security scan.

@shaunitogohard To check if your phone may be tapped you can look for fast battery drain, overheating, pop-ups, or apps you don’t recognise. If it is, update your phone, delete anything unfamiliar, review app permissions, and change your passwords from a safe device.

@ScottNiyi_1k Odd phone behavior does not always mean it is tapped, but it is worth checking. Look for unusual battery drain, overheating, unknown apps, new permissions, or settings you did not change, then update the phone, review account sign-ins, change your main password, and turn on 2FA.

@Michaeljwatk1n5 Location changing on its own is usually not a major sign of hacking, but it is worth checking. To fix, look at location permissions, remove any apps you do not recognize, review account sign-ins, change your main password, turn on 2FA, and make sure your phone is fully updated.

@nikihuss209 A phone acting oddly does not always mean it's tapped. To confirm you can check for fast battery drain, overheating, strange noise on calls, or settings changing by themselves. To fix it you could try updating your phone, removing unknown apps, and restarting it.

@mxghii Try checking apps you installed around the time it started and remove anything unfamiliar. You should also turn off pop-up or “Appear on top” permission for apps in your phone settings, and check your browser notifications in case a spam site was allowed there.

Has anyone been getting these ads on their phone? Sometimes it would be by Auto news. I don't know how to get rid of it! I've tried a malware checker app, and couldn't find it to even stop it. I shouldn't have to download an ad blocker for this! Any advice to get rid of this?

@V3L0C1TYxHCS Those look more like nearby device IDs than proof of hacking. Hacking signs include random pop-ups, settings changing on their own, overheating, or battery draining much faster than normal. If you notice those too, check for unknown apps and install any phone updates.

My phone is acting crazy... and it acts up more sometimes when I connect my bluetooth ear buds. The weirdest part is these available devices showing up... Is my phone possibly hacked and under control? Those definitely look like IP or MAC addresses, not bluetooth device names.

@winston_chizz Battery issues can have several causes. To fix security issues, remove any apps you don’t recognise, keep your OS updated, and change your main account passwords. To improve battery health, check its usage and limit background activity.

Frequent restarts like that are usually a tech issue, not hacking, often caused by a crashing app, failed update, or hardware fault. Try removing recently installed apps and updating your system. For hacking concerns, look for things like unknown apps, changed account settings, or logins you don’t recognise but restarts alone aren’t a typical sign of monitoring.

Seeing only one active session on your account that matches your device is a good sign. A different location can sometimes appear due to IP routing or your mobile network, not necessarily hacking. If you’re concerned, log out of all sessions, change your password, and enable two-factor authentication. Also check your account email and security settings for any changes you didn’t make.

@pride_0147 If your being monitored, you may notice signs like rapid battery drain, overheating, unexpected data usage, or apps you don’t recognise. You might also see pop-ups or settings changing on their own. It’s important to regularly review app permissions and keep your device updated.

@girl2017971 If your phone's hacked, it may be good to update it, delete any apps you don’t remember installing, review app permissions, and change your important account passwords from a device you trust. Back up your photos and contacts, then consider a reset if the problem continues.

@Dare_Re_Ya If you think your phone is being hacked, start by updating it, removing apps you don’t recognise, checking app permissions, and changing your main account passwords from a trusted device. If it still behaves oddly, back up important data and consider a full reset.

@nicholasdesuza Phones don’t usually auto-react due to hacking. On many devices, a “thumbs up” can be triggered by a tap/gesture or accessibility feature. If you want to check for hacking, review permissions, look for unknown apps, and ensure your OS is updated.
