3/4 That’s what 9/11 is really all about for me now. It’s different every year. And it’s never easy, comfortable or unemotional. But that’s what it is right now. Tonight. And if you’re feeling alone, don’t. I’m here. And so are many, many others.

2/4 There’s hope in the future, people. No matter how dark the current day. There’s always the hope of a brighter day. We mourn their loss. And the pain of it all. But we also celebrate their lives. And the gift of life that we still have.

1/4 This is the view from my 3-year old son’s bedroom window tonight. And I can’t even begin to fully process that. And delicately explaining to him tonight what these lights mean, 17 years after I was there, was surreal. And as we were talking, we saw a rainbow inside. For real.
