Donald Trump won North Carolina with 51% of the vote. Republican gerrymandering gave Republicans 71% of North Carolina’s seats in Congress. That’s 10 out of 14 seats. The 3 NC seats stolen via gerrymandering could likely be the difference in control of Congress. #ncpol

#ACTUALNEWS: Advisers to DJT are discussing with House Republicans the possibility of using tariffs to fund a major tax cut package. This could involve changing House rules to use tariffs as offsets — raising tariffs through legislation hasn't been done since 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. Trump voiced his idea to use tariffs and eliminate income taxes. According to estimates by the Tax Foundation, the US would need to implement an across-the-board tariff hike of 69.9% to completely replace income taxes.

I find posts like the one above useless… as a surgeon(not even a primary care physician) I already recommend the following, I have dietary plans in place, and workout recommendations for my patients. Every patient here’s my lecture on bone and muscle health… I have been doing it for years. But ‘health experts’ who deal with a sliver of the populace make it seem like that… they have invented the light bulb…. Without acknowledging the road blocks for the patient. Yes, preventative health needs to improve… But it’s not as simple as motivational BS, TikTok’s and podcast. Despite what many healthy care entrepreneurs may want, I don’t think subsidizing much of their pseudoscience is a solution either I said, what I said

Cotton Mather also understood that a 2% chance of dying from induced smallpox was better than a 14% chance of dying from actual smallpox, and helped pave the way for vaccines.
