I worry that this is massive cope on the side of teachers. It’s one thing to say, in-class writing is the best we can ask for in the age of AI, but to declare that we’ve "revived student writing" and ignore the enormous loss—*1000s* of hours of writing—is myopic and disastrous

You know what maybe I just transcended whatever evolutionary trait got me on this planet. I've held plenty of babies and have taken care of kids and I still don't want any of my own for a list of reasons. Maybe all girls like me are some form of more developed humans

Get a good look at the past.
This is what husbands used to do when their wife wanted to leave them. They called them crazy and put them in an institution and put them on brain melting medications and shock treatments until they complied. Women literally killed themselves to free themselves from their marriages and this treatment before no fault divorces were allowed.
Today men scream we need to repel no fault divorces. Fuck those men.
