I own what most people consider one of if not the easiest reptile species to begin with, a Leopard Gecko, and his startup alone was about 200-300 USD. This isn’t even including stuff I already had ready. Most reptiles are pretty "predictable" too once you know them, cats? Nope.

Every animal for me thats been easy to take care of is ONLY easy for me because I already have years of experience and the resources, knowledge, and tools to just have them willy nilly and ensure proper health and enrichment. Most people don’t have that.

I have 7, have rescued about 60-100 newborns over the past decade. If anyone tells you a cat is “low maintenance” they’re doing something very wrong or got very lucky. No animal, especially mammal, is truly “low maintenance” and well enriched except very few exceptions.

I don’t really give a damn what people are into, your life not mine and all, its easy for me to ignore and move on, but its getting annoying finding one in a hundred every time I bother looking. I genuinely have just given up at this point.

Maybe its just me but I’m getting sick of wanting to see characters headcanon’d as transmasc/transmen for the sake of thinking it adds an interesting layer of experiences and depth to the character and get constantly hit with pretty much fetishization.

I don’t mean to kick up any fusses but this has been on my mind for a while There’s seemingly such an odd amount of hatred towards transmasculinity I’ve picked up on in fandom spaces? In general, actually.
