Those thinking of looking @ careers in the Criminal Justice System would do themselves well to look at doing a Criminology qualification at Level 3 (A Level) or a University Foundation Year in Criminology.
To apply for a Police Service you need a Level 3 Qualification Crim ideal

Dozens of serving police officers across the country have been investigated for rape since the murder of Sarah Everard, Sky News can reveal.
It comes as today marks five years since Everard was raped and killed by serving off-duty police officer Wayne Couzens, who abducted her during a fake arrest.
