It truly makes one wonder why the super science of psychology pushes trans ideology so much when stories like OPs are really common - don't give in to trans and once your kid hits puberty (or makes it out of highschool) suddenly the train stops.
Bronwyn Millar@gingerhaderach

Our child got a phone age 11, in 2020 when she was SO lonely and isolated. We'd just moved countries and the local kids were being shits. Within 10 days she "came out" trans. We didn't know WTF was going on but when the school found out they sent us for mandatory "counselling". The 2 psychs (wearing masks on zoom) spoke with such thick Cork accents we didn't understand most of it. They then asked to speak to her alone. I listened at the door. They didn't even ask about the horrible bullying the local kids had put her through, and she spent 15 mins saying "pardon" because she couldn't understand them. Then they told us she was trans and we had to affirm or she would khs. Sent us breastbinding info and sent our GP a letter telling him to refer us to the gender clinic. They put our name down for some bizarre "Big brother" type programme where an adult trans person, a total stranger, with no clinical training, was going to pick her up and take her for an ice cream so she could talk about her feelings. We of course refused, but as the Irish CPS has a horrific reputation for removing kids whose parents don't toe the line, we were deeply uneasy about all of it. We left Ireland shortly after that, returning to South Africa, where the govt does NOT trans your kids. We found out that she had been groomed online, on her phone on tiktok and other social media, lovebombed by ADULT groomers like Fuzzz99, Jacob Tobia and Jeffrey Marsh (If you think you might be trans, YOU ARE TRANS! Cut off any family that doesn't affirm the REAL you... etc). She begged for blockers and T, which we refused. We did the pronouns and the name change but were very firm that hormones etc were NOT on the table. Natural puberty hit like a freight train. She started wearing push up bras for the breasts she used to tell us she wanted amputated, nails, hair, make up became super NB. Noticing boys, falling in love with her body. She's now the MOST FEMME creature imaginable, has a long term boyfriend, is fantasising about the names she wants to call the children she told us she was never going to want. Of the 14 trans kids in the support group we joined in 2022, only ONE is still "trans" and he's a super femme, super autistic "aromantic" and "asexual" gay boy. One of the other girls now has a deep voice and facial hair and is furious at her parents for puttin her on the T she begged for - that she had said she would khs without. We have been through absolute hell. But thank the Goddess I trusted my instincts and KNEW MY CHILD. It was a trend, a gaslighting cult, an inhuman attack on the family. We were told we were bigots for daring to question any of it. Affirm, affirm, affirm was the only avenue allowed. The mothers have their voices back now and we are NOT GOING TO SHUT UP ANY LONGER.

@needGod_net The only time I ever had anxiety about my salvation was when I was a Pr*t and everyone was judged by their actions as to whether they were "truly" saved or not. Many people I knew prayed the "Sinner's Prayer" repeatedly just in case they weren't sincere enough the first time

@needGod_net And that anxiety went away when I started my journey to becoming Orthodox.

This is why we focus on preaching the gospel. We want more people to have this rest.

@needGod_net Ironic how he uses the EXACT same language as you in your conversations about "anxiety" and "peace" and "assurance"... Surely this is a real person Ryan because you've never been caught lying before

🔸 Saint John the Russian and the Atheist Doctor 🩺 🔸 In the 1960’s, a doctor who was a staunch atheist became ill with cancer of the rectum, one of the most serious cancers of that time. After the diagnosis, the doctor fell into despair, and began to pray for the first time in his life: “O God, I’ve never believed in You. I thought that all belief was nonsense, and that man should believe only in man and science. Now all my philosophy has lost its value. Accept my repentance, and if you think this prayer worthy, heal me in the name of Saint John the Russian.” As he finished his prayer, someone knocked at the door. A young doctor then entered the room and said to him, “How are you doing, colleague?” The sick doctor hopelessly answered, “What can I say? I am dying.” In a calm voiced, the young doctor responded, “No, you won’t die. I’m taking your illness on myself.” The sick doctor refused to believe what he was hearing, and questioned the young doctor, saying, “I have been practicing for a long time. I know what my disease means. Who are you?” The young doctor responded, “I’m the one you asked for help”, and then he left the room. The sick doctor followed him out into the hall, but could no longer see him. He asked the staff, but they replied there had been no such young doctor, and suggested that he was hallucinating from the shock of the diagnosis. In a state of shock, the sick doctor was now sure that the young doctor who visited him was in fact Saint John the Russian whom he invoked in his prayer. He then insisted on another round of tests, and the second exam showed that he was completely healed of his illness. Dozens of specialists were called into behold the miracle shown by the x-rays: the first showing the cancer, and the second completely clear. Many miracles like this one have been attributed to St John the Russian, who continues to be invoked in the prayers of the sick and those suffering from cancer.

Trump has won this war 7 times. He’s negotiated a peace settlement 12 times. And he’s opened the Strait of Hormuz at least 4 times. What more do you want from him?

Could you imagine if there were notebooks that said “The future is male” at department stores? Mugs that say “I drink female tears.” Sweaters that say “Dump Her.” What would little girls think if they saw those? I just don’t understand why it’s acceptable the other way around.

@AL_J82 Pr*testantism never once challenged me, nor held me accountable for my actions. OSAS has exactly the opposite effect - if all I must do is say I believe and then go do anything heinous and still be saved then there is no challenge and no accountability.

If Orthodoxy really "heals" people, then it wouldn't be so attractive to OrthroBros. It's a place where an adult male can be a kid with minimal consequences. The reason why they couldn't make it within Protestantism is because we're going to challenge you like men and hold you accountable for your actions, not give you a false sense of security within the sacraments.

Jesus: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” Low church Protestants: “No, that’s not what He means!” Jesus: “Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” Low church Protestants: “No no, that’s still not what He means!” Jesus: “For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.” Low church Protestants: “Trust me bro, He didn’t mean that!” Jesus: “As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.” Low church Protestants: “I swear… He didn’t mean that either!” Jesus: “This is my body.” Low church Protestants: “Jesus definitely didn’t mean that!” Jesus: “This is my blood.” Low church Protestants: “Jesus please stop! You don’t mean any of this!”

We know Jesus was being metaphorical in John 6 when He said those things for multiple reasons, but the biggest being that there is only one gospel that saves: Faith alone in Christ. Jesus was not contradicting the gospel by promoting sacraments and works for salvation.
