@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx Yeah, it doesn't mean jack shit against isagi bc isagi never made claims like nagi will never beat him. Nagi didn't prove anyone wrong. Meanwhile, Isagi narratively proved Hugo wrong. Stop being ed and learn to read.

@ShxdowMoonFr @RapsInSixxxx Cool lil bro. Plenty of examples I could give but you know in your heart this was a poor sequence. And if you don't you just got 0 ball knowledge, ain't interested.

@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx Why would he walk up to Rin? did rin say anything about chigiri never beating him? no, rin never said that. Did hugo say isagi can't win against someone who is playing within their aptitude like him? yes hugo quite literally said that.

@I_LoveDokkan @getsugafact Cool bro. Have a good day. I'm sorry that as a football fan, I just do not think that is a well written sequence because big papa Hugo had a whooping 1 goal + 2 assist + shut down Japan almost singlehandedly LOL

@default2_ace @getsugafact He evolved and beat him bru why is that hard to understand 😭, Goku was getting shat on by frieza until he got ssj and was victorious -Hugo thought he’d use his right due to him being right footed, Isagi calculated it, he manipulated his “luck”

He positively impacted Karasu's final plan He outclassed Hugo on the last play They would have snatched a draw if it weren't for the intervention of a certain jerk In short, you could have thought before giving your opinion, or just not given it at all

@ShxdowMoonFr @RapsInSixxxx Also showing Nagi's play literally disproves you wrong, because it is literally narratively claimed that winning against Isagi in a play didn't mean jack shit LOL

@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx Yes? Beating and winning against someone in a specific situation has always been a thing in blue lock, and it's always called "WINNING AGAINST THEM". It doesn't make you a better player, it doesn't mean u won the game. It simply means in that specific situation you won.

@I_LoveDokkan @getsugafact I think you didn't read anything I said cause the only reason BL competed was due to Karasu accepting Hugo's philosophy. It is ok to criticize Blue Lock sometimes, yknow?

@default2_ace @getsugafact And he can claim victory over his philosophy because he beat it, in just one match he overcame a NG11 and would have drew against France

@I_LoveDokkan @getsugafact And I'm saying it's poorly written to claim victory after you get stomped the whole game and then do a "luck" dribble that leads into a won 50/50 + potential goal.

@default2_ace @getsugafact -that means in that moment Isagi beat Hugo -Isagi evolves throughout a match, his whole gimmick is to adapt, we see at the start he was hopeless when confronted by Hugo, yet by using “luck” he beat Hugo’s philosophy -blue lock isn’t real life football

@ShxdowMoonFr @RapsInSixxxx And Hugo's statement would remain true because in football, defeating someone means outperforming them throughout the game. Do you believe Chigiri defeated Rin Itoshi because he scored 1 goal against him in both the 4v4 + Manshine game? You surely never did. Just stop this lol

@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx "But Isagi claims a philosophical victory due to 1 duel." Isagi winning that duel in general literally means Hugo is wrong. Hugo said "CAN NEVER DEFEAT" not "Can only defeat 1 time" or "Can only defeat _ time" he said never. isagi winning once proves him wrong

@ShxdowMoonFr @RapsInSixxxx I think you're refusing to acknowledge what I am trying to say. I'm not saying Isagi didn't win that 1 duel. But Isagi claims a philosophical victory due to 1 duel and that I cannot stand behind, it looks so unrealistic. Do you understand or no? I don't get how you don't.

@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx I never said isagi beat hugo to win the match, there's a reason I keep highlighting "SPECIFIC MOMENT" and you even acknowledged that in that SPECIFIC MOMENT isagi wins. I literally screen shotted u going back on ur words simply bc ur butt hurt abt losing a twitter argument

@ShxdowMoonFr @RapsInSixxxx Sorry dude, if you watch soccer you'd understand winning a duel doesn't mean victory or defeat over a player. Hugo completely destroyed Isagi. What Isagi said was wack af. Peace out bro.

No, the reason I'm asking you if you watch football is because it is quite normal for a worse player with a worse mindset/philosophy to get the best over a better player. It's about what happens during the 90 + whole season that counts. If you don't watch football, you just wouldn't get it. + I know that Isagi outplayed him in a moment, but to claim victory over Hugo's philosophy when Hugo had 2 assists + 1 goal + shut down Isagi the whole game AND Blue Lock's goals came directly because Karasu accepted Hugo's philosophy To me the way it is written looks ridiculous.

@ShxdowMoonFr @RapsInSixxxx But he objectively did not defeat him. To claim that someone's thoughts were wrong because of 1 dribble when that other person beats him is objectively speaking a pretty bad narrative, do you not agree? lol

@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx Hugo was never comparing isagi's performance to him or karasu or loki btw, He specifically said someone without aptitude can't defeat someone who has it. Which is basiclaly saying isagi can't defeat hugo if he doesn't become a number 2. but I literally js showed u isagi did

But that's my point, winning a duel that leads to a goal doesn't disprove a philosophy. He didn't disprove Hugo because even if he scored, he'd have been below Loki, Hugo and Karasu in performances. Mind you, Rin ruins Isagi's goal, but technically if Isagi followed Hugo, he'd have scored.

@default2_ace @RapsInSixxxx You already admitted isagi beat hugo in that specific situation. you admitting that is all that's needed bc that already proves hugo was wrong. Isagi is capable of beating hugo without becoming a number 2

I'm trying to tell you that Isagi winning in that specific moment means nothing when Hugo's philosophy led to - Him scoring - Him assisting twice - Him shutting down Isagi almost all game and not only that, but BL scored twice from Karasu's assist (Hugo's philosophy) In football, players outplay each other. To me, it's simply bad writing to say Isagi "won" the philosophy battle when he got himself at the end of a goal once. If you feel differently, either you don't watch football or you glaze Isagi/Blue Lock too much.

The "yapping" is what the story is built on btw. Debating the philosophies and applying them to football is the whole story, if you reduce it to "overexplaining" then I don't think this manga is for you
defaultplay@default2_ace

@FriedShidou 80% of the show is Isagi yapping and overexplaining things. Feel like the show could be so much more lol.
