Okay, so my sister sold the free laptop I gave her for school just to fund a trip with her friends. And now she has the audacity to ask for ANOTHER one. Years ago, I gave her my perfectly good old laptop. Two months later, she cashed it in for travel money. I bit my tongue then, figuring it was hers to do what she wanted. Fast forward. I'm upgrading again, mention it at dinner, and she immediately asks for *this* laptop. I just laughed. "Probably not, considering what happened to the last one," I told her. She's blowing up, saying "once a gift is given, it's none of your business!" My response? If you sell my gifts, I'm free to stop giving them. Now my parents are calling me petty, and she says I'm holding a grudge from years ago. Seriously?
