I will never understand why ambitious professionals stay in the UK. You’re working 50 hours a week in London for £45k ($60k), getting taxed into oblivion, just to say you have 'good work-life balance' and 25 days of annual leave. In the US, that exact same corporate role pays $130k minimum. You aren't protecting your peace; you're just accepting a discount on your talent.
