The truth is that Taylor has garnered a fanbase from every generation after her debut but also gained and kept older folks that other older artists have not. Streaming era artists cannot compete because they don’t sell units to their young fanbases. There won’t be someone (1/2)

@CUNextTuesday_k Right, like half of Taylor Swift’s fandom is grown adults with steady jobs that allow them some room to buy a physical when she drops something. Ari’s fanbase is mostly young adults with no money and Olivia’s is teenagers. People expect the same purchasing power IJBOLL

@dollificationnn It’s great to support the artists because it helps them more… but a lot of them don’t need help. They’re already very successful. Many of their fans aren’t anywhere near as wealthy so only a select few are willing to go the extra mile to buy physicals
