@TexasPreacher It's not just Reformed, I'd say a good deal of the Western churches have at best a hindered view of the Spirit.

The trouble today is that we have too many Reformed folks who don't believe in the Holy Ghost!

@DennyBurk Early voting was eaten up by the ice storm and Republicans are notoriously bad at off-year elections, especially special ones necessitated by a run-off. I’m not putting too much stock in it here until we see this November.

I don’t know how much to read into this because of the abysmal turnout. Only 15% turnout for this special election, whereas it was 64% when Trump won by 17 points. If GOP loses rematch in November, that would signal a real shift, especially given how red that district is.

If your response to anyone being gunned down while exercising their free speech is, “They had it coming.” I’m not sure we can have a reasonable dialogue. You can claim Christ all you want, but that response is demonic.

@HonestYPTweets Our church went through Joshua over the last year or so, finishing back in April. So rich. Some of my favorite sermon series have just been expositing OT books too.

@RevivedThoughts It's what I use mainly myself, but I've started to use the CSB a little here or there. I'm also using the NLT with my 3 year old daughter, but the ESV is still my main translation.

Do you still use the ESV or are we all done with that one?
