The reason antimatter so difficult to store and transport is it can't be allowed to touch anything or it will instantly annihilate into pure energy, so it needs to be suspended in magnetic fields in a device called a Penning trap. This is essentially what the "containment field" in a Star Trek warp core is, except 92 antiprotons is practically nothing in terms of energy. A matter/antimatter reactor is the most efficient engine theoretically possible, but if the containment failed, even a single gram of antimatter annihilating with matter would produce an explosion equivalent to roughly 50 kilotons of TNT, per Einstein's mass-energy equivalence formula. However, antimatter is extremely rare in our universe (this is one of the big unexplained mysteries of science since our current Big Bang models predict there should be an equal amount of antimatter to matter). While it does occur naturally in small amounts under extreme conditions, all of the antimatter humans have access to is man-made in hadron colliders. It takes so much energy to produce antimatter this way, and it's so difficult both to pull off and to capture and store it after you make it that to make that a single gram of antimatter would cost $62.5 trillion with current methods. This is equal to more than half of the combined GDPs of every country on Earth.

A truck carrying antiprotons will drive across Europe. A team at CERN just transported antimatter across the laboratory's campus in a truck. Literally. 92 antiprotons packed into a portable trap weighing one tonne. As everyone knows, antimatter annihilates on contact with ordinary matter - which is basically everything. The final destination is Germany: Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. An extraordinary delivery in the history of road transport. home.cern/news/press-rel…
