Single women are living just fine on their income while single men are lamenting and looking to partner up so they can split bills. Interesting world we now live in.

And another thing, I will give Charisse this: Ashley springing this information on her while filming is QUITE the ambush and signifies that there was an ulterior motive. Charisse was right to not react in that moment. Ashley was trying to start a storyline around her son #RHOP

There are some interesting points here but to be fair, The topic of whether fine dining actually exists here is relevant to your argument, because your original premise is that fine dining deconstructs & erodes Nigerian traditional food. That thesis assumes a certain level of dominance or presence of fine dining to begin with. Imoteda’s point is that such a culture doesn’t meaningfully exist here at all. We can absolutely critique the classist history and politics of fine dining, that part is fair. But that doesn’t negate Imoteda’s rebuttal
Ama Udofa@the_amazingama

A notable Nigerian chef claimed that there is no fine dining restaurant in Lagos. I agree, but the diagnosis of why such void exists is faulty. In this video, I argue against the “symbolic violence” of the claim and the “I pass my neighbor psyche” behind it.
