Despite everything Gaza has endured, Egypt has remained close to the hearts of its people. In the darkest of times, Egyptian solidarity was not just expressed through words, it was reflected in compassion, concern, prayers, and support from millions of Egyptians who followed our suffering as if it were their own. We know that the true measure of a people is not politics, but humanity. We have seen sincere acts of kindness from the Egyptian people, messages of support, campaigns of solidarity, and countless voices that refused to remain silent in the face of civilians’ suffering. From Gaza, we extend our deepest love and gratitude to the people of Egypt, who shared our grief and stood with us in the hardest moments. The bonds of brotherhood, history, and neighborliness will always remain stronger than any hardship.

The massacres in Gaza do not stop. Yesterday, Israel killed eight civilians here. Just minutes ago, another group of innocent people was targeted. A real genocide is unfolding in the area west of Gaza City.

Life in Gaza is terrifying beyond words. They convinced the world that the war had ended, but for us, it never did. We still live in fear every single day. Death is still close, and hunger, siege, and destruction continue to define every aspect of our lives. When the headlines fade from the news, our suffering does not. We wake up with anxiety, fall asleep to the sound of explosions, and spend each day simply trying to survive in a reality that no longer resembles life. Gaza is not a story that has ended, nor is it a chapter from the past. There are still people here waiting for safety, justice, and a single chance to live a normal life. Please don’t forget Gaza. The tragedy is still ongoing, and its people continue to pay the price every day.
