@ypto_pia Stock fans keep the price down, and honestly, for most use cases they do the job fine. Noctua is a different story. You get whisper-quiet operation, but you give up top-end RPMs. Classic silence vs. airflow/affordability trade-off.

The BitForge Nano is already a solid little miner, but with a simple fan upgrade, you can make it significantly quieter. By swapping the stock fans for 2x Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM (12V), you get a smoother, softer noise profile without sacrificing cooling. It’s a quick upgrade that noticeably improves day-to-day use. Most people focus on hardware. Real miners focus on power, cooling and why they’re mining in the first place.

@rico_de_paris PCB only. maybe include heatsink/fan but the rest the buyer will deal with, purely for modders/enthusiasts

@dtvelectronics How incomplete do you mean? Just the board with asics, etc already onboard, so buyer can mount own fans, cases, psu etc? Would you sell the this as a 'build your own kit', from online store to put together at home/wherever? And offer built version too? i would buy one of each!

Do you think their is a market for HashHammer as a complete unit AND as PCB/PSU barebone only option? Because this miner will be open source and most parts will be available to use off the shelf (e.g. PC CPU coolers, 3d printed cases, etc), do you think it makes sense to release a percentage (e.g 25% of production) as 'barebones' units.

@jordw21 @NottmBitcoin We provided the hardware and training to take payments. Independents are much easier to onboard , chains more difficult due to bigger integrations and outside management
