if you’re at a pride event why are you even making assumptions abt someone’s gender/sexuality unless they’re literally wearing their flag? like i never see a guy at pride and think “that’s a bi girl’s straight boyfriend” i just assume they’re a member or ally and move on

I have literally never been to a pride parade that didn't have shitloads of straight people showing up. People bring straight friends and family, community members come to watch/support, it's a big party. And yet every year people take it upon themselves to scold bi women.

Someone bi calling themselves “half straight” would be pretty contradictory & invalidating to their sexuality
