@TrueBeachLover @Bitwarden To answer your question, though, if you’re already using an Authenticator, probably not. I’m sure there is a debate or discussion on what is the best 2nd factor, but you’re already in a pretty good spot.

@Bitwarden Looking at buying a security key OTP device for my Bitwarden account. Will they all work? Looking at adding an extra layer of protection. My laptop doesn't have a USB-A connection Thanks for your time and assistance

I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing project that's right in my back yard and I'm looking forward to helping spread news and science knowledge in any way I can.

Time to dust off my X account!
I'm very proud to have been accepted as a @GrandUnivSpace Ambassador. When the Grand Universe campus in Westfield, IN is completed, it will be one of the best places to learn (for all ages) about our world and the universe that surrounds us.

@RobJodH @cybrtrkguy Ya, we need all the details. And I think you’re right in terms that there will be no “magic” that improves towing efficiency with CT. The only thing would be a battery that has 500 miles of range which could get 200-250 while towing. That would make it somewhat practical.
English

@eck79 @cybrtrkguy It looks completely flat in the front in the picture, hence the comment. The CT won't improve on this as it is all about aerodynamics (as far as I know). CT being taller will probably help some with air clearing the trailer although more will go underneath i would think.

Update on towing the SeaDoo with a Model Y:
I drove 30mi at ~55mph— once while towing, and once without.
➡️Towing efficiency: 285Wh/mi
➡️Non-towing efficiency: 196Wh/mi
That’s a 45% hit to range 😅
My 70mph interstate experience was similar. My Model Y does ~280Wh/mi without payload, and 390Wh/mi
That’s a 40% range loss at 70mph 👍
For reference:
- not a scientific test
- 2021 SR Model Y (RWD)
- SeaDoo Spark 2up (410lbs)
- Triton aluminum single trailer (300lbs)
- Driven on state highways— some traffic lights & obstacles
- 75 degrees, negligible wind

@RobJodH @cybrtrkguy It’s a V-Nose which is about as aerodynamic as you can get for a utility trailer. And it’s only 6x12. Imagine towing an 8.5x20 footer that has trailer brakes. Will CT just be an urban pickup or will it have real hauling capabilities?
English

@eck79 @cybrtrkguy Not arguing the numbers but just have to love how aerodynamic that trailer is 🙂

@eck79 There’s a standard poodle close by that is looking for a new home. She’s under a year, so who knows how well trained she is…

@teslascope Y’all enjoy your FSD updates while I’m going on month 3 of my car being in the body shop and month 6 of not being able to use FSD. I’m living vicariously through @teslascope!
