i find it super interesting when languages do this… it’s called metathesis, and there are examples in other languages (crocodile > cocodrilo in spanish, mosquito > moustique in french)

my side quests are things that you can start and finish relatively quickly… on a day/weekend. for example
- go practise archery
- go to an astronomy meeting and look at the stars
things like “run a marathon” are more like main quests cause they take a lot of time and effort 😭

i’m kind of scared tho cause every time i come on here and talk about my plans, it takes me about 2 weeks to go inactive again so i don’t want to jinx it 😭😭 it’s been a month and a half for mandarin and nearly 2 weeks for french. i want to be hopeful lol i choose to believe……

por cierto me ENCANTA que después de la actuación de bad bunny la mitad de la gente que habla español y la mitad de la gente que habla portugués en redes haya decidido que nos entendemos mejor hablando cada uno en nuestro idioma y que pasamos del inglés jajaajajaja

@evalanguages Esto me ha pasado mucho pero desde hace dos meses y medio he sido muy consistente con ello y no me parece que vaya a cambiar desde ahora. A veces es verdad que llega el día donde finalmente todos los astros se alinean y logras las metas que más te costaban

so i visited paris a week ago and i met a lot of amazing (french) people and we spoke in french the whole time and i think my brain FINALLY decided french is super cool and i really want to put in the work voluntarily and improve??? it only took me 14 years omg

so i visited paris a week ago and i met a lot of amazing (french) people and we spoke in french the whole time and i think my brain FINALLY decided french is super cool and i really want to put in the work voluntarily and improve??? it only took me 14 years omg
