@advisor_tom87 @SleeperHQ Yep, top 2 records in my league get the bye, then seeds 3-6 are sorted based on total points scored, to help higher seeds actually get the easiest matchup possibly throughout the playoffs. They had this feature last year and it appears they have taken it away.

@ffb_qs @SleeperHQ Yeah mine was set to reseed but the other division winner got the easier matchup even tho he’s the #5 overall in standings.

@fleaflicker Also let me ask you this...if I set keepers to 17 this causes some picks to be skipped. Now if a team with 17 players drops down to 14 does that reactivate some picks that were previously skipped?

@fleaflicker Ok so is there a way that I can have it set so the draft board is filled out correctly with no skipped picks AND not have anyone get cut (if they are IR eligible) because I feel like people should not have to cut players on the IR but if that’s the way it is that’s the way it is

@ffb_qs Keepers represent picks on the draft board, so it makes sense that reducing keepers increases picks on the board. The system assumes that those non-keepers will be cut prior to the draft which will in turn open up picks that otherwise would be skipped.

@fleaflicker Also this current setting does not allow me to select the “these are the keepers only (for all teams)” option. It looks like it’s because IR players are being counted against teams roster total of 14

@fleaflicker (when you click on draft it shows players who will be dropped) because the number of keepers is set to 14 not 17 because some teams have players who are on IR and/or taxi who are being counted against them

@fleaflicker Looks like no one owns picks: 2.03, 2.04, 2.09, 3.03, 3.05, 3.07, and 3.10

@fleaflicker Ok that’s fine with me. But now when I make that change there are missing picks on the draft board again

@ffb_qs Yes! That will fix it. You could do that for the draft and then adjust it back down after cuts are made post-draft if desired.

@fleaflicker Looks like the problem is solved if I switch the number of Keepers to 17 then

@ffb_qs Looks like you did this already, but it's League > Settings > Import Rosters/Draft Results, and in the bottom Keeper Options section, choose "These are the keepers only (for all teams) and click Save -- that sets every current player on every single team as keepers.

@fleaflicker So now when I click League> settings> import rosters/draft results> these are keepers only (for all teams) I get a message that says “no roster may contain more than 14 non IR players (this one has 17). But the team doesn’t have 17. It only has 14 so it should be good

@fleaflicker Ok so when I click on “Draft” the bottom half of the screen says “to be cut at start of draft”...how can I fix this so no one gets cut before the draft.

@fleaflicker Oh ok good. And what setting is it that makes them all keepers like that?

@ffb_qs If you have them all set as keepers now (which it appears you do) they will all be safe in the draft. That setting only refers to NON-keepers. If you see the little green pushpins by all the players currently rostered, all of those players will stay in place.

@fleaflicker But I don’t want players to be dropped we’re suppose to be keeping our whole rosters...are we going to lose our players when the draft starts 😨

@ffb_qs That setting doesn't do anything at the moment -- it just means that you agree that anyone NOT designated a keeper will be dropped prior to the start of the draft.

@fleaflicker What does the “plan to clear non keepers” option do? I clicked that and there are still a few missing picks. Progress though!! 😅

@ffb_qs Gotcha! Here's what's left to do -- go to this screen: fleaflicker.com/nfl/leagues/29… and change "Non-Keepers" to "Plan to clear non-keepers at start of draft" and "Count players on Taxi Squad" should be set to No (the first option)
