@Frontofthelines @elonmusk Trade in is common game all dealerships play.. it’s an opportunity for them to sell new cars and olds ones they resell in bulk to others. Tesla is losing big here by being dumb and not being Tesla.

@elonmusk I’m the owner of 2021 model y and would love to upgrade to a new version of model 3 or model y quicksilver .. but Teslas trade in process is painful and outdated. Carvana does much better here. Continue in threads..

So my request to you is.. the next business for Tesla comes from people like me who paid hefty amount in 2021/22 and now want to get new version for cheaper price.. so value your customers or else be ready to lose them to other car brands. Good luck!

So I decided to go with some other car this time (Toyota Highlander)

But your sales guys want me to get the car to Tesla shop to update the offer .. which is big hassle for customers like me.

Tesla is low balling me on the offer .. way lower compared to Carvana and also CarMax for the same car. Pls note all these offers are online without looking at the car.
