My neighbor was outside mowing the lawn **shirtless in broad daylight** like we don’t live in a neighborhood where families and kids are walking around all day.
And I’m sorry, but when did “basic decency” become controversial?
I get it. It’s hot. Everyone’s uncomfortable. But living around other people means having a little awareness of your surroundings. This isn’t some private field in the middle of nowhere. It’s a residential neighborhood.
People are outside with their kids, walking their dogs, coming home from work, just trying to exist without being forced into someone else’s “I do what I want” moment.
Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I don’t think putting on a shirt while doing yard work in public-facing spaces is some impossible request.
At this point, it feels like basic boundaries have completely disappeared and everyone acts shocked when someone says, “Hey, maybe think about the people around you.”
Am I overreacting, or is this actually weird?

Why does Black academic success frustrate many White people? They've been socially conditioned to believe that we're less intelligent. Seeing thousands of Black people graduate is inconsistent with their prejudiced views. They're experiencing cognitive dissonance.

@Pr0blemzSolved Thanks to dems, in HS there's a No Child Left Behind rule, meaning everyone graduates even if they never attend classes. Same thing at HBCU's and other colleges...."You get a degree! And so do you!" 80% of black college students drop out because they are at a 5th grade level.
