Everything Price Sufferer (but especially eggs)
A swing voter in a focus group said he found Harris's promises "condescending" for unspecified reasons. Identity contextualizes campaigns. All politics is the "ummm human resources?" meme.
Matthew Yglesias@mattyglesias

This is political party brain death. Democrats have many successful swing state politicians who are black (Warnock), hispanic (Gallego), female (Slotkin, Whitmer, Hobbs), and Jewish (Ossoff, Shapiro) — nominate good politicians who take smart positions.

@generanth @moshik_temkin Yes, Netanyahu agreed to that. He wanst' pressured. After that, there was not a single ceasefire under Biden's watch. And he deliberately lied months after months about an "imminent ceasefire" that never came because he never wanted it. He's even more evil and cruel than Trump.

If the Biden/Harris administration had shut down the Israeli bombing of Gaza after 2-3 weeks back in October-November ‘23, which even Obama would have done, none of this would now be happening.

@moshik_temkin Reminder that Biden didn't allow any ceasefire until his last minute in office.

There was a theological, Talmudic reason that the government of Israel did not have the death penalty (only 2 exceptions since 1948)—and it was a very good one. This is sickening—and legalizing already commonplace extrajudicial killings of Palestinians. nytimes.com/2026/03/30/wor…

This is actually a useful hypothetical, since Hamas literally did this and the world responded by saying that Israel should give Hamas a country.

Yahya Sinwar, the architect of the genocidal mass slaughter on October 7th, was released by #Israel in a prisoner exchange. Israel even saved his life by removing a brain tumor. This cannot and will not happen again. This is the Middle East — not a kindergarten.
