I realize that I probably need another Major win or 2-3 more regular Bracelets to get in. But I do think I am deserving of Nomination. I have stood the test of time, been one of the best Cash and Tourney players for 30 years now. I ask for your nomination. wsop.com/hall-of-fame/2…

Ok here rake too much @WSOP : 1100$ Mega 70 entries 7 seats right?? No, 6 seats and 8250$ So the rake is 125$ per entry in a Satellite, and if you win a seat the 10k Razz is raked also. I get running the @WSOP is expensive, but the Landmarks have always been 1k plus 100$

Question for you theorists out there: Is it minus ev to max late register a limit landmark satellite?? Assume you are a good player and normally plus ev in a tournament. Does the fact that other players are already closer to the Landmark, make your entry minus EV??

I think there are too many advantages for late registrants and players that do what we want and register on time are the ones that are actually penalized. It’s been proven it’s +EV to enter late, players that register on time are forced to wait for 3/4/5 players, then play short, and then can get pulled to another table to do what, ACCOMMODATE LATE REGISTRATION! Then we get complaints from late registrants if we don’t pull that they are “stuck at a late reg table.” I remain in favor of benefiting players that register early or on time or won a satellite to get in.

Big Thanks to my wife Shirley, who managed to get my recliner into our Volvo Hatchback and arrived in Vegas last night. I had my best sleep in a month. Today playing the Razz 1100$ Landmark Satellite for the 10k Razz tomorrow @WSOP

I honestly don’t know how I am still in the tournament: I ran into 3 wheels in the last hour. 12 straight unpaired 6 or below ran out vs me. Had to fold A2358 before the river. Did find a double up just before break, and now on 133k in the money @WSOP 1500 Razz

Why the Razz Tournament @WSOP is so amazing: I raised 632 an 8 called, ok i could be stealing. Then he called again 8K to 22. On 5th he called 8KK vs 22A 😳. And this guy won this event one year. End Day 1 165k

Well that was better: changed tables, which I really didn’t want: But I won some very marginal hands and made a great call that tilted a guy and he lost a few more pots to me. Up to 117000 @WSOP Razz

By the way: Late Registration already gets enough advantage, can we PLEASE not stop dealing to let someone check in? @WSOP

Played an absolute dream spot for a cap 3 ways as a nice favorite but got unlucky and lost to both hands. On 17k @WSOP Razz. Need to start hitting some 6th street/rivers.

Little frustrating, I got a player to put in 6 bets with an 8 draw to my 6 draw on 3rd and 4th street and lost a big pot to his 8. I paired 3x, same player beat me with a 987 that made an 8 to my 23459 that missed. Still ok with 32400, but could so easily have 70k @WSOP 1500 RAZZ

Being in the poker TV table streaming production business for more than 10 years, I highly recommend 3 things to ensure game integrity can’t be compromised. First, as some less experienced poker fans might become paranoid after watching this video, I want to make it clear that I don’t think any cheating is going on here. They’re simply worried about the possibility of being cheated at the end of a major tournament where the prize pool is significant. Here are my 3 recommendations for every tournament, cash game, and stream operator: 1. As Foxen and Kulev pointed out, cards should never be known in real time at any point during a hand. They should only become known once the hand is over. In any case, the 30 minute to 1 hour delay that every poker stream already has is enough for software to display the cards in real time, even if they are scanned after the hand. I’m in favor of non-RFID cards, as anything can be hacked nowadays. I’m also in favor of bringing back the old-school method, with each seat having its own hole-card webcam. AFTER each hand, the player would show their cards to their personal webcam, so viewers would still see the hole cards on the live stream just as they do today, but NO ONE and NO software could ever have access to a player’s hole cards in real time during the game. The information would only appear after the hand, without affecting viewers’ experience. (And if the player forgets, the dealer should remind them to show their cards to their personal webcam before mucking.) 2. Every organization needs to teach its dealers to slide the cards instead of pitching them through the air. Props to Rob Yong for enforcing this in his highstakes room at Onyx, Merit Casino in Cyprus. That prevents hidden devices used by cheaters around poker tables from identifying the cards through micro cameras and AI software while the dealer is pitching them, allowing someone with a tiny earpiece to know your hand in real time without anyone noticing. 3. Every organization should enforce a dynamic shuffle before each street. That way, the order of the deck can never be known. Shuffle machines know the order of every card internally, and that information is hackable. For anyone interested in understanding how shuffle machines can potentially be hacked to predict the winning hand, I’ll post a video explaining the method in the comments of this tweet. A single cut by the dealer after using the shuffle machine is not enough. By simply signaling your card to someone outside right after folding, an app can determine where the cut was made and then tell you or others at the table in real time which seat will receive the winning hand before the preflop action even begins. A dynamic shuffle is when the dealer quickly reshuffles before dealing EACH street (preflop, flop, turn, and river). That prevents hacked shuffle-machine systems as well as barcode decks. Barcode decks are special decks, mainly used in private games, that can’t be detected by the players but can be read similarly to RFID technology. As a result, the order of the cards can be known by one or multiple players, allowing them almost directly to identify the winning seat. Again, props to @rob_yong_ and @_OnyxLive at @meritpokerlive for enforcing both the dynamic shuffle and slide dealing. I know it requires some changes on the operators’ side, but they will be necessary to better secure our game moving forward. I love poker. It’s the best game in the world, and for all the poker players out there risking their own money every day based on their skill, I wish for a safe playing environment and a non-technological deck of cards. The identity of the cards should never be known by any machine or by anyone during a hand except the player holding them. That way, everyone can be sure cheating is impossible. That’s in everyone’s best interest. If you care about poker integrity, please retweet this. Thank you for reading. 🙏

@WSOP Completely reasonable to not scan until after the hand with people that have been accused of cheating like Martin. Martin is a constant disruption and should be barred from all American poker rooms

@WSOP The stream is already on a big delay. The graphics team can put the hand up from the delay to the audience. Why is this even a question? Scan before or after. Doesn’t matter it’s on delay. If it makes player more comfortable after, let them?

Just want to say I really respect how Soverel handled that last night. Also respect to @WSOP for posting the clip. Most operators get shook at the mere mention of cheating and sweep it under the rug, thought it showed integrity to not hide the incident and share it. The single biggest threat to the game we love, nice to see it being taken seriously

Yalls hero (Kabrhel) roots for the nicest person (Krissy) to bust then asks her for a losers interview. Makes high rollers uncomfortable enough to not scan their cards. Makes a mockery of the game at every chance possible. Screams constantly for no reason. This is who yall promoting? It’s an absolute joke!

I want to be in the @WSOP Hall of Fame, it is a HUGE goal of mine. However until they put more than one in per year ( why not?? ) I need more wins ( working hard to make that happen ). My opinion is that @scott_seiver is the most talented accomplished player not in.

Poker is crazy: I won every pot for 30 minutes, then barely won an ante for 2 hours. Got short but survived and now on 272k ( a little over average ) with 27 left @OrleansPokerRo1
