In Surah Maryam, at the moment of her deepest pain, Allah speaks to Maryam رضي الله عنها and says: فَنَادَاهَا مِن تَحْتِهَا أَلَّا تَحْزَنِي “So he called out to her from below her: ‘Do not grieve.’” At the peak of her brokenness and loneliness, Allah did not leave her to suffer in silence. He sent her a gentle call, “Do not grieve”, to comfort her heart and bring her peace. That is who Allah is. He does not leave you alone with your pain. He sends you His mercy through people, words, and unseen support to steady your heart and calm your anxiety. Maybe that comfort comes after a divorce that left you feeling abandoned. Maybe after years of waiting for a child that never came. Maybe in the middle of grief, exhaustion, or a Dua you’ve repeated a thousand times. Allah sees the brokenness in your heart. And when life feels too heavy, His gentleness comes down to your heart, feeling His words “Do not grieve. Allah is with you”.

Morning tonic -- for s/he in whose veins piety runs. The goal of fasting is to have everything about us bettered. If Ramadān does not shape your attitude from bad to good, you should be in doubt of the acceptance of your abstinence from eating, drinking and sexual relation with your spouse. He who cannot forgive Allāh's creatures, for instance, should also not expect his sins forgiven by the Creator. You are hard but you want to enjoy softness. Isn't that double standard? You're fasting but you can't forgive your wife, neither is the wife ready to forgive her husband, and co-wives too also hell bent on continuing their fights -- and yet they all wake up at night to seek Allāh's forgiveness from their mountainous trespasses. Let me remind you what the prophet said. عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((مَن لم يَدَعْ قول الزُّور والعملَ به والجهلَ، فليس للهِ حاجةٌ أن يَدَعَ طعامه وشرابه))؛ رواه البخاري "Whoever does not desist from vain talk, acts that complement it and sins, Allāh has got nothing to do with his abstinence from eating and drinking." Sanni Kay Yūsuf

Dear man seeking a wife, Marrying the wrong woman will literally destroy you, all you have ever worked for and all you plan to be. It is one of the most important decisions of your life. If you settle for a woman who is unruly, badly behaved, lacking in humility and home training, who is surrounded by negative enablers either as her family or friends, your life will take a negative turn.
