really enjoyed this scene because it gave the illusion of gabriella and lestat being partners in crime and then it quickly shatters because the moment they start beating him, he looks towards her and she just goes back to her fucking book
@ffs_anaaaa @lestathater These scenes gave me a feeling of a theatric play. Like, Lestat was re-enacting what happened in a bit of a theatric way to put some distance to his trauma. While in s2 Armand tried to make his recollection sounding as realistic as possible. At least this is my interpretation.

eles vão cozinhar essa implicância do lestat c o armand, fazendo parecer q é birra e ciúmes, p revelarem o pq dele odiar o armand da forma mais devastadora possível
i get the artistic reasons why they didn't show the wolves scene, this show is not like a big action movie, this sort of hero myth being born doesn't match the failure theme surrounding this season, they prefered to show the aftermath in lestat's body and how he barely survives, this was not a hero being born
theres a suffocating energy that he won’t address but feels, an invasiveness and discomforting closeness that she knows she can obtain because hes been groomed to search for her approval and it’s evident when lestat tries to put boundaries & she ignores them. im sick #tvlspoilers
you don't think s1 or 2 had episodes like this because you binge watched them. you did not have to speculate about what came next, you just pressed play. u did not watch them w the book under your arm so u could point out every perceived mistake or what they could've done better

sinceramente foda seeee que não mostrou ele matando os lobos um por um, oq importa nessa parte da história é mostrar como o lestat é corajoso, como ele tem sede de mostrar q tem valor e como ele consegue sobreviver mesmo quando ninguém acredita nele
