This has been coming for a while.
Putting this together took me through a lot of memories and experiences. And honestly, this video doesn’t even show 5% of what I’ve created over the years. I didn’t overthink it or try to make it perfect. If I’m being real, I’m actually bad at creating things for myself.
What I do enjoy though is working on projects. I’ve loved almost every project I’ve taken on, mostly because they were challenging. I tend to pick work that pushes me. From those challenges comes experience, and from experience comes growth. That’s what keeps shaping my path.
“Motion Designer” or “Video Editor” are the titles I go with, but I don’t think they fully describe what I do. Yes, I create motion design. Yes, I edit videos. But to me those are tools, ways to translate ideas into something people can understand and connect with.
I’m still figuring out exactly where that leads and how it evolves, and I’m okay with that. For now, Motion Designer & Video Editor works.
There’s a lot I could say about this phase, but I don’t want to overanalyze it. One thing I will say is that Framer was actually fun to use. I only got into it to build this portfolio, but I think it turned out convincing enough that I know what I’m doing… lol.
This year I want to work on more projects, but more importantly, the right projects.
