YUNJIN talks about how PUREFLOW pt.1 was inspired by the quote "For I am fearless, and therefore powerful" from Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein, which LE SSERAFIM reinterpreted as: "For we are not fearless. And therefore powerful." and turned into the concept of ‘FEARLESS 2.0’ 🐶 I participated right from the initial planning stages. We discussed it amongst ourselves and with the company even before the album's theme was finalized. We have always told autobiographical stories, but for this album, we thought deeply about what stories only we could tell and what we wanted to say the most. The common thread that emerged was about our team's relationship, stories of solidarity and friendship. This album was born out of honest conversations about the deeper bonds we've formed while promoting together, as well as our thoughts on fear. 🐶: We went back to our roots and brought back the keyword 'FEARLESS.' However, the shape and definition of the fears we face and perceive now are a bit different, which is why we are opening a new chapter called 'FEARLESS 2.0.' OMG DID WE JUST GET A WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE ?!?! an actual story about people feeling stuck, lonely, disconnected, and then slowly finding warmth, comfort, happiness and a reason to step outside and experience life because of the people they meet. The way they connected, how each one unknowingly became someone else’s reason to keep going, to leave their room, to create memories, to find a “HOME” not in the literal sense of the word but in the people who make you feel seen, understood, alive, and safe enough to become a better version of yourself… I’m speechless and emotional
