Every year 1,000 neural tube defects are diagnosed in utero in the UK. Sufficient amounts of folic acid are shown to mitigate this risk and fortification of flour is an intervention the RCOG is calling for to achieve this. Learn more: fal.cn/35xxD #BetterForWomen
