@Brcremer as @PastorTrey05 said: It's only in all of us having to deny ourselves equally in all these things that we're actually following Jesus. If you don't gotta deny nothing, but I gotta deny everything, then you're not asking me to look like Jesus, you're asking me to look like you.

@PastorTrey05 I think we just outsourced it after that. If I look at the tag of my shirt it was made in a country I can't find on a map and I doubt they have minimum wage there.

There were two sides in the Civil War. And both of them had slaveholding states among their ranks. One side fought to extend slavery into new territory. The other side fought to prevent that side from leaving the USA. Slavery was a moral issue for some people. Not the USA.

@1matrixghost I can see that. Its what I get out of world building for my infrequent Genesys RPG sessions (a medieval world called Aeroaf, Where the Drow Bark). And my daily dose of historical critical scholars debunking Christian apologetics Common theme: empires are bad

@indigOnegative At some recent point, writing cyberpunk dystopia started veering into "therapeutic escapism from modern hell-reality".
