@RyderDesignS8 Imported from Illustrator, was outlined text so that may be the issues then or at least trigger!

@instruct You have to manually select the overprint option in inDesign. So at some point your text was probably a different colour (?) and overprint was selected. Or, was the text done in an imported graphic from illustrator (which is where my map issues came from – not my mistake! 😉)

@RyderDesignS8 So we're told the proofs showed the text which is worrying, how we can spot it again but going to have to make a pre-flight profile to check everything each time!

@instruct Yeah. It’s not just on text either. It’s been in inDesign since the first versions. Had the same problem in a load of maps for a 4/5k book print run – fortunately, the printers proofs showed the problem. Thank god for proofs!

@instruct This nailed me once in the early days with the Man Utd logo, the registered 'R' was set to overprint and a shed load of stuff went to print... 😵
