As someone who played the remake first and then went back and played the OG, I still jumped when the cutscene played. I don’t think it was “much more effective” in the original, I think it shocked you more bc you were a kid. Also, who shoots the water so much their first time?

Don't know why they regulated this to a cutscene. Much more effective in the original with how snappy and shocking it was.
