does anyone else feel 'touch deprived?' & I'm not talking about touching in a sexual way but simple platonic gestures like hugs, having someone play with your hair, resting your head on someone's shoulders and so on..no one prepared me for how lonely adult-friendships really are

Instead of trying to constantly get introverts out of their comfort zone, why don’t more people actually learn to make the zone more comfortable?

New young lady at my job. She’s quiet, introverted. Older, VERY extroverted coworker: “we need to break her out of her shell. She’s too quiet.” When are we going to learn to leave introverts alone? Why is it bothering you that she’s quiet? This incessant need to speak and engage is so weird.

This is the first time Calcifer has ever snuggled me 😭 my HEART.
He is semi-feral and not a snuggly guy, I rescued him almost two years ago and I just assumed he wouldn’t be a cuddly kitty. But we made it 🥹
