back on here for the first time in a verrrrrrry long time... looking for art appreciators and other artists! Here are a few of my recent works -- the drawings are in graphite, and the paintings are their own thing lol (Sunday is for Church, Hell Hath No Fury (like a kitten) 2)

@reallnr_ nah. I did when I was young, sure. the work matters more. materials and whatnot far, far less now. I have better things to worry about. if the first page of a sketchbook is bringing out your insecurities I dunno man.

drawing is mostly technique. I know if I were to practice I can copy almost anyone's work. but then again I am not here to prove to you that I am a great draughtsman. I just want my art to resonate with people. With that said I don't know if others can copy my paintings though. does that make me cocky? lol

그림을 그릴 때 느끼는 점 사람들이 내 그림을 그냥 슥 보고 지나치지 말고 하나하나 다 뜯어보며 감상해주면 좋겠다.... ㅈㄴ 열심히 묘사한 거 다 봐줬으면 좋겠다... 구도에도 다 뜻이 있다는 걸 알아줬으면 좋겠다...

@joonbug999 That's a fair point, I just find it isn't easy to try and marry the two evenly and not have it become a mess, if that makes sense. The balance has to tip one way or the other with one as more of a support or else it feels like it is pulling too many directions at once.
