@4_4_3Coaching The drive to improve can often come from a place of uncertainty. It's the people who are convinced they're experts that worry me. Interestingly I think this has huge application to sports coaching too. Some of what Danny Kerry does would work for you, but not all.

When you sit down to write your activities it's useful to start by picturing the experience you want your players to have...before you get into the X’s and 0’s, and before you get into technique. Put psych-social first when planning your sessions!

@BlaineMcKenna77 The sports industry as a whole doesn't help by fast-tracking athletes into coaching roles. Completely different skill sets.

Everyone has an opinion on a coach's job, when they'd never be so disrespectful to do likewise. Imagine going to tell a plumber how to do their job, after watching a home improvement TV series. Coaching isn't shown the respect it deserves. It takes years of research & experience!
