A4: I have used it in my classroom but I have also used @Flocabulary which I found more beneficial for my first graders! #DigCit2021

A3: I think Ts and parents should be on the same team! I think the same vocabulary would be intentional and provide cool collab. But realistically Ts should bring a professional view and parents should bring that personal view. #DigCit2021

A2: Maybe bc I teach 1st gr. I honestly do not think you can ever "know" your Ss will make good decisions online. You can only model, model, model and allow them opportunities to show you they are learning how to make good decisions by giving autonomy. #DigCit2021

Blue Haze Elementary first grade classrooms transformed into oceans today. After reading Three Little Fish and the Big Bad Shark, students answered math review questions so they could earn keys to unlock a Breakout box. #empoweringbears @BlueHazeWSISD @kdpearson @viewsfromfirst

What makes a school a better place? People who go beyond their job description. I looked up to find a custodian @BlueHazeWSISD opening lunch items. THIS IS WHAT MAKES OUR WORLD BETTER. Ms. PAULINA makes me want to be better! @wsisdschools has no idea how blessed they are. 😭

High expectations or low expectations, students generally live up to what we expect. The same can be said for adults.

Today I left school EXCITED. I’m struggling with engaging my students this year. The Ss I struggle with the most was the MOST ENGAGED today! His eyes wouldn’t leave the game board unless he was answering a question. TY @flippitynet for helping this struggling teacher! 😭💕
