@ACumbow Oh I agree, he simply needs to be better, consistent effort shouldn’t have to be coached to a senior PG…it’s just so obvious that the team is not put in a position to succeed night in and night out

The Senior PG since February started: 31 minutes. 6 points, 8 assists. 2-5 shooting. 30 minutes. 4 points, 5 assists. 1-6 shooting. 35 minutes. 23 points. 5 assists. 5-13 shooting. Good game. 25 minutes. 4 points, 5 assists. 2-9 shooting. 22 minutes. 6 points, 4 assists, 2-7 shooting. 33 minutes. 15 points, 4 assists. 6-12 shooting. Did absolutely nothing in the first half. Good second half. 30 minutes. 9 points, 4 assists. 4-8 shooting. 32 minutes. 8 points. 4 assists. 3-13 shooting. Averaging 30 MPG, 9 PPG, 5 APG. Shooting 31% (and he barely shoots 3s). Woof. Single digit scoring in 6/8 games and only one game with more than 5 assists lol. People wanna say Izzo never plays freshman (and it’s wrong). He would have sat #11 for Fears a while ago if Fears was healthy. Losses always suck regardless, but at least for me, they would be much easier to stomach with young guys that are the future of the program than Seniors that you have watched do this for four years. This program goes as the point guards go. The center play hasn’t been good but if the team was getting consistent production and leadership out of the PG spot, they’d be a much better team. It’s that simple. And if #11 turns it on like he did in last years Tournament, they can beat teams. If he doesn’t, more of this will continue.
