For all my dear Twitter pals who cannot get outdoors today, come on a walk alongside the River Wensum. A storm is coming in and the trees dance to the sound of the wind, the birds are singing and the reed quietly hisses in the background. Happy Easter my friends.

"I thought the earth remembered me, she took me back so tenderly, arranging her dark skirts, her pockets full of lichens and seeds." - Mary Oliver It's easy to feel helpless and overwhelmed by the world right now. I want to watch the news like I watched Doctor Who when I was a child, from behind a cushion. I can't change any of it or stop any of it. The only thing I can do is retreat to where the blackbirds sing, where the morning dew sparkles in the lanes, and breathe it all in, live in this immediacy, here, now. Nature comforts. 📍 Peak District, England

I had a loved one in my family choose MAiD when he was in the last months of painful bladder cancer. I see a lot of people on this platform calling it immoral. The only immoral thing I see is making people suffer. MAiD allows people the choice die on their own terms with dignity.

I finally did it, I picked up the backpack of someone taking up two seats on a standing room only train, handed it to them and said “you can hold this so someone can sit, thank you.” A woman immediately sat. I will absolutely keep doing this

We inspected a selection of woodlands in November six years ago, & obviously none had Bluebells, & none of the property listings made reference to them Big mistake, as we could see evidence of them in one. We still cried the next April when this happened in our new woodland
