Coaching doesn’t just impact one person. It impacts a family. There’s someone at home holding it all together when the season gets heavy. Game nights. Late buses. Tough losses. The spouse of a coach in it too… just without the title. Don’t forget that.

If a player doesn’t play hard all the time, no skill they bring to the table can offset that. Playing hard is a prerequisite to playing. Period. Nobody succeeds by making half an effort. Make sure your players understand that laziness is unacceptable. Competing to WIN is a skill!

The @ucawbb Sugar Bears have now won six in a row after taking down Austin Peay, 67-63. Former #ARPreps standouts Jenna Cook and Cheyanne Kemp led the team in scoring with 14 points apiece. Half of those came in the 4th qtr. Coach Kemper on Cook: "She's growing in confidence."
