This week our team delivered another Cancer Awareness session with @BluebirdCareCLD We are currently in the process of training every member of their team to become cancer champions Our new Cancer Awareness worker Ilyas joined in helping deliver his first session #CalderdaleCA

Our Chai and Chat group is held every Monday at Apna Staying Well Hub hosted by the @CalderdaleCA Every 2 weeks there will be a different health focus, ranging from menopause and breast care, to healthy eating and lifestyle, why not pop along?!

Today are delivering a cancer awareness training session to some of our @HalifaxOppTrust staff in the Apna Hub By becoming cancer champions we are spreading cancer awareness within our communities and work places, as well as passing knowledge gained far and wide #CalderdaleCA

The Park Ward Forum is now in full swing at Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre. Great to see lots of residents from across Park Ward in attendance. The meeting provides residents a chance to talk to local councillors, police officers and other local services #LetsGetSociallyActive

Our Arts group were out 10 pin bowling this morning and getting active enjoying themselves. Regular physical activity can help improve your mood and lower risk of conditions like #diabetes and #stroke. #StayingWell #Calderdale

Lovely evening spent with 51st Pellon Scouts in Plum Street along with colleagues from HCI as well as other partners. We’ve seen a huge turnout of residents who have enjoyed treats, food, camp fires and much more for second year running on bonfire night #LetsGetSociallyActive

Today we celebrated International Day Of Older People to raise awareness of the challenges older people face and recognise their contributions to society. Our participants really enjoyed the activities with a nice warm meal. #IDOP2024 #Calderdale #ParkWard
