@evanhamilton I've been thinking about this *a lot*. I've started socializing the concept of "digital urban planning" internally. Not my idea but don't remember where I heard it. Think about your [large] community as a town. How do you get new people to the place they need to be to succeed?

A big question as communities grow in size and scope: how do you make them not overwhelming? When you look at big company communities they all seem to have 30 different sections with 10 subsections each. I can't imagine a user being able to grok them.

I think the latest @RosielandHQ newsletter just gave me a better name for a reworked initiative. Urban planning for the win.

I now have a "sin" project because of a slight delay in auto-fill for "single action list" in @OmniFocus. Can't decide if I should delete it. Sounds like more fun than many of my other projects.

I realize what I want is less ‘smart’ and more ‘helpful’ in my technology.

Ugh. So much of my personal mail is getting routed to spam. I’ve missed so many important mail. Spam appears to be my new inbox. Which, to be clear, is not a fun place to be. But I don’t want to miss your mails, friends.

I put a haiku in our end of year planning presentation and it appears no one noticed. *It will be bigger next time.* People must see my bad poetry.

Popped up my head enough today to sign up for 3 different conferences this fall. Always looking forward to learning and re-learning from others.

@evanhamilton How about designing like a video game birthday party? Everyone gets a certain number of meeting minute tokens month/day. If you run out you just have to get work done. :-)

I feel like cross-functional meetings need some sort of arcade console "Do you want to go over 15m? Add $2.00 in quarters."
