Was lovely today to be with the contributors of Once Upon A Time In Northern Ireland and the wonderful KEO productions and WALK ON AIR FILMS celebrating the huge impact this amazing documentary has had. Among the accolades being celebrated today were: Broadcast Award, Bulldog Award, Royal Television Society Award and Grierson Award - all for best factual series and then BAFTA for best editing and soundtrack. @Shamenfreude RTE acquired the PBS version of the series where all the films were cut down to under an hour to fit into a standard PBS slot. The BBC version of episode one is 75 mins so quite a lot had to be taken out.
