NCAA literally stated that the gambling Sorsby did had no bearing on the integrity of the game. Kinda hard to complain about an injunction when throw a free gimme.

Honestly there was no reason for the NCAA to not grant Chambliss a medical redshirt. The NCAA is all over the place when it comes to granting extra years. Chambliss and Oklahomas Owen Heinecke were denied a 6th year, but Miamis Mohamed Toure got a 3rd medical redshirt? Dudes going to be playing an 8th year this fall. Either give players 5 for 4 or grant only 1 medical redshirt.

@BJSymons It is normal for the NCAA to grant a player another year of eligibility due to injury. Trinidad didn’t receive that. So he went to court to get what he was owed. I don’t get why people are pretending this is irregular. It’s nowhere close to the Sorsby thing.
