I saw a really disturbing story recently about a girl named Eli in the U.S. Her friends tried to do that “push face into birthday cake” prank while she was blowing out candles… but sadly, it went terribly wrong and turned what should’ve been a happy moment into something tragic. Honestly, this is exactly why I’ve never been a fan of all those rough birthday “traditions” — pouring water, pushing people, all those things we call fun. Back in 2008, I was actually electrocuted on my own birthday because of that same kind of careless play. Since then, I’ve completely stayed away from it. Birthdays are supposed to be about celebrating life, not risking it. All these “it’s just cruise” moments can go wrong in seconds. Celebrate people with sense… not suffering. 🙏🏾
