UPDATE To My Health: Covid got me again. Would appreciate your positivity and good wishes. I would call this a moderate case & it began last night. I’m already on paxlovid but still not feeling better. I will keep fighting and never give up! Thank you for the love & support. 🙏💜

My brother went in for his heart bypass surgery a few hours ago. They said it should take around 6 to 8 hours. This is going to be a long day. Not many know this, but my mom walk out when I was 5. To say my dad did not handle it well would be an understatement. Patrick is 10 years older than me and is actually my half brother, but we never saw it that way as we grew up in the same house. After my mom left, dad told Patrick “I’m gonna need your help taking care of Ryan.” …so Patrick took care of me from age 6 to 12. My dad was usually busy dancing and trying to find a replacement mom. Instead, it left me with zero parents and an older brother trying to figure out his own life at 17 and 21 years old. He basically had a kid at home he was responsible for, and he knew it. Despite all of that, my Big Brother never complained, even to this day. It’s a debt I can never repay. I may have had absent parents, but I had a big brother who stepped in when I needed it most. May God keep the doctors hands steady and minds clear so they can do the best job possible. Amen! 🙏🏼

I tend to keep my family life as private as possible these days, but we could really use your prayers or positive energy. 🙏🏼 My big brother went into the hospital a few days ago because he was having problems breathing. Well, turns out he was in a pretty advanced stage of Heart Failure, only pumping at 25% and leaving pounds of fluid on his legs and chest. They just did a heart catheter and found five blockages. I’m not entirely sure what the next steps will be, but I know this will be a tough road for him. If you’re religious like myself, prayers would be great. If not, positive energy and vibes are just as good. I appreciate you all. 🙏🏼🥰

I traveled to the Dom. Rep. to see my 92 year old grandmother in my hometown. Her health isn’t looking good. She is surrounded by her loved ones, family, and friends. We are praying for a miracle and recovery. Would you pray with me for her?

I had a good and productive trilateral meeting with President @realDonaldTrump and President @EmmanuelMacron at the Élysée Palace. President Trump is, as always, resolute. I thank him. I also extend my gratitude to Emmanuel for organizing this important meeting. We all want this war to end as soon as possible and in a just way. We spoke about our people, the situation on the ground, and a just peace. We agreed to continue working together and keep in contact. Peace through strength is possible.

My husband and I went to a dog adoption event with our older son and his girlfriend, who were volunteering there. We were NOT going to adopt another dog. Absolutely, positively NOT. Meet our new 3-month-old puppy (a rescue from PR). She adopted us, lol. Any ideas for a name? 🐶

UPDATE ON MY HEALTH: On my annual kidney cancer check-up a growth they were watching via ultrasound doubled in size. My survivorship NP is getting me in for a CT Scan w/contrast ASAP. I'm scared but I am so GRATEFUL to have access to care & will NEVER GIVE UP!🙏

Russia hit a private house in Sumy with a Shahed drone last night. A family was killed: the bodies of a 50-year-old woman, her 14-year-old daughter and 62-year-old sister were found under the rubble. The husband was pulled out of the rubble alive. Neighboring houses were also damaged. Russia does this every day.

TEARJERKER, PLEASE SHARE ,URGENT PALLIATIVE FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR RIO, LIVERPOOL #UK Please share wherever you are, let's not let Rio pass away in a rescue shelter. Aged 8, he has been there, waiting for a home for 7 years !!!! 💔 freshfields.org.uk/animals/rio-2/ Rio is a beautiful boxer/staffy cross who is 8 and a half years old. This loveable old gent is a firm favourite with staff and volunteers alike. Rio has had a few lumps and bumps tested recently and sadly we have had the devastating news that out boy has got a mast cell tumour. This diagnosis means that Rio is not going to be with us for as long as we had hoped. Our vet advised that he may only live for another 6 months due to him being in the kennel environment but if Rio could find a lovely retirement home where he would be a lot more relaxed and stress free then it is possible that he could live longer maybe even up to 2years. We are desperate to find this handsome lad an end-of-life foster care arrangement so that he can live out his final months (hopefully years) in comfort and peace. Once Rio knows you, he is the sweetest and most amazing boy. He absolutely loves company and will happily snuggle up on his couch next to you and have a nice snooze (sometimes snoring as well). He’s pretty good at tucking himself up as well and is often found hidden under all his blankets. Rio is such a quirky character and when he sees his favourite people he wiggles his whole body in excitement. His favourite hobbies include basking in the sun, playing with his toys and short walks…oh and treats. He also loves treats and more treats…did we mention treats!!! Whilst Rio does have his own room here at the rescue and seems happy, this is no substitute for a loving home. We are ideally looking to find an experienced dog owner who lives in a quiet home without any other pets or children. Ideally someone who lives not too far away from the rescue as he will need to be brought to us for regular check-ups with our wonderful vets. A special somebody with a gentle approach who can be patient and give Rio the time and space he needs to settle and feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Rio really doesn’t want much in life, he just wants a bit of company and to lie around and chillax. Once acquainted with this chap, I guarantee you will be smitten. As you would be fostering Rio all costs for vet fees, medication and food would be covered by the rescue. You would also receive our full support for Rio’s retirement journey. Please tell me that Rio’s squishy face made you really want to reach out and help. Can you be the saviour to step up for our wonderful Rio in his time of need?
