Did anyone in your family ever own a full set of encyclopedias? Those heavy books sat on the shelf like treasure - we'd actually flip pages to look stuff up. Who remembers Britannica or World Book?

@ATL_SCOOP I arrived at ATL this morning at 8:12a.m today and cleared security at 8:41a.m. Wayyyy better than anticipated. TSA Precheck was pretty efficient - long line initially but moved quickly.

Atlanta airport this morning. Security line out the door @ 5:49 AM. A major TSA staffing shortage tied to the ongoing government shutdown is driving longer wait times. TSA agents are currently working without pay, and it’s clearly taking a toll. Many agents are not showing up to work, simply because they can’t afford to.

🚨 HOUSTON AIRPORT JUST TURNED INTO A MASS SLEEPOVER AFTER TSA LINES COLLAPSE — “LOOKS LIKE A DISASTER SHELTER” Wild video from inside Houston’s airport shows rows of emergency cots set up across huge sections of the terminal floor as travelers deal with unbelievably long TSA security lines. Passengers say waits stretched for hours, triggering waves of missed flights and leaving people stranded overnight inside the airport. With the backlog growing, airport staff reportedly began setting up temporary sleeping areas right inside the terminal so travelers had somewhere to rest while waiting. And this isn’t the first time this has happened at this airport... previous footage shows this isn’t new. At what point does this stop being “travel delays”… and start being a system failure?

Hoy vuelo toda la noche de Vancouver a México, llego 6:15 am No había caído en cuenta que no puedo tomar Uber o Didi a mi llegada (y rento depa justo enfrente del aeropuerto) no hay manera que me vaya caminando (son 8 minutos caminando) pero es una zona muy peligrosa, y vestido de piloto, con iPad, visa, pasaporte, es realmente arriesgado. Piensen un poco en los tripulantes que tenemos que ir o regresar del aeropuerto unas 15 veces al mes o más! Imposible pagar taxis

@jaevionn I DK what is happening with our work ethic. The only male nurse on a team of nurses for my 85y/o father was 2 hours late for his 7:00p shift and the next morning (at 7:00a) had alcohol on his breath. Said he had a stomach ache next morning (ie, hangover). 😩 #fired #cayliss

The workmen came yesterday and the first thing they did was to have a drink of white rum. They drank throughout the day. Collected half of the pay yesterday. They are yet to sow up today to complete the work. Dodged a bullet because I almost used them for a larger project. LOL.

@cee_suella This is exactly what I feared was the cause of the manslaughter plea. He’s basically saying she did something to him that made him lose control and kill her, and so… he wasn’t in his right mind and so it would be a significantly reduced sentence.

Went to my 15yr old school to pay for her CSEC subjects. Asked the teacher if there was any child having difficulty paying. She said she wasn't aware but would check. I left my name & number for her to call. She did & said the mother is elated. I told her that's how the Lord provides🙏

@DamionMitch What an unfortunate situation. Sending her & family my best as she continues to recover. Sounds like she had a moderate TBI at the very least. May need to consider inpatient brain injury rehab to boost functional outcomes. This is the time in her recovery to get all that support!

JUST IN: Miss Universe Jamaica Dr Gabrielle Henry is scheduled to land in Kingston late Thursday evening. She will arrive at the Norman Manley International International Airport and will then be transported by an ambulance to a corporate area hospital. The beauty queen has been hospitalized in Thailand with serious injuries she received on November 19 when she fell through an opening on the main stage of the Miss Universe preliminary round formal wear segment. ▫️The fall caused bleeding inside the head, loss of consciousness, a fracture, facial cuts and other significant injuries. ▫️Dr Henry still requires 24-hour specialist supervision. ▫️She will have a full medical escort on the flight from Bangkok, paid for by the Miss Universe Organization. ▫️Her mother and sister, who have been in Thailand, will also be on the flight.
