(Human + AI) Art > Human Art 1. There's no such thing as AI Art, it's always Human + AI Art 2. With AI as a tool/co-creator a Human gains the ability to be simultaneously inspired by millions of different artists at a time, as opposed to always the same few hundreds, at best.

Art is creating. Experience and contemplation of a work are similarly core to it. Neither creating (nor experiencing) a piece requires ownership. Art markets wouldn't exist without Art. Art would be fine without markets.

All fair points and we agree with most, but a bit more context. The milestone pilot was implemented 4 months after the start of Fund9 and the decision was probably taken sometime in the interim - the pilot had to start sometime & sooner was probably better than later. /1

@newmindflow I think the new Milestone system is a good one. It would have been preferable to be aware and to budget the costs of it prior to the start of the funding round. It would be better if the process of managing/auditing SoAs was a professional position rather than volunteer. 1/

If the CF alone would have the power to decide who gets funded from the community treasury it would be just a plain copy of how the legacy system works - think EU grants and government funding schemes. The whole #Cardano proposition would be a lot less interesting & appealing.

The genuine attempt at building a decentralised gov system is what truly sets #Cardano apart The fact that the tech is also there is great, but technology alone doesn’t change the status quo Decentralising the decision making of how treasury funds are spent is a good 1st step
