You can ABSOLUTELY feel a change in tone compared to the random podcaster of the week. The focus is on the SHOW not who they are as people but Karl seems to get even more personal than he does with John

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Carl @whoarethesepod just sounds like an arrogant prick whenever he forces in a mersh @GooningOnRumble shit talk segment. I listen to WATP and ROTC. Not even sayin carl is wrong, just the way he goes about isn't very funny or fun #Dabbleverse

The Puppet Masters (1994). Telepathic alien slugs take over Des Moines. Can Donald Sutherland stop them? This takes a number of liberties with Robert A. Heinlein's 1951 novel of the same name: it's not set in a post-nuclear 2007 Cold War with flying cars and ray guns. It's more of an X-Files world and Sutherland is a CIA operative investigating strange behaviour after a reported UFO sighting. That said, it's a bit plodding. The brain slugs are pretty scary, but the tension ebbs and flows.
