The time has come for a shift. What if we started to understand that we were so powerful in support of each other, instead of in competition with each other? The heart of all of this, I think, must involve a reconnection with an emotional language.

Great mentors are learners as well as teachers. Data: when mentors value insights from below, they're more engaged and effective—and their mentees are more successful. Mentoring is not a transfer of wisdom from one to another. It's a relationship where two people grow together.

Education has always seemed to be focused on fixing teachers. Teachers don’t need to be fixed but they do need to be supported, encouraged, & appreciated. Thank you to all the leaders who do!
