So whats your views on the Uk introducing digital ID. You okay with it? If not whats your concern?

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black Yeah it's scary how easily it can be hacked and copied by people. Just makes you worry what people would do with it if they had EVERYTHING

@oldtvprograms @KainCreates @daz_black It definitely is. All of my mums info was hacked recently as it is and that was way too easy for them to do. They don't need access to the rest of it on top.

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black yes ! Think that's my concern is how much easier identity theft could be. Cyber security doesn't seem particularly great in this country atm, and just feel as tho making it even easier to hack people's info is wrong .

@oldtvprograms @KainCreates @daz_black Digital IDs are 100% going to be easier to fake than physical IDs. Especially, with like you said, AI being so accessible and rather easy to use now.

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black true. think they should just be more upfront about the reasoning, as we all know it won't tackle immigration, if the current forms of right-to-work and ID don't help the problem.

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black your physical driving license for example, that's still the same id, where ur physical one is still valid. It's the addition of that being the form of id for renting, working etc that's unnecessary. If that makes sense ?

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black yeah I agree with u haha. I just think when u go to the effort of getting ur passport , or driving license etc, you need proof of living here for that. Just using digital versions seems so wrong, when there is sufficient id already. If it was just an online version of -

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black it isn't at all going to help tackle immigration or anything. it's just odd to need the digital version instead of physical for things like jobs , when we're in a society where ai so prevalent too, the digital ids would probably be easy to fake as well.

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black I get what ur saying , but I think it's the vague reasoning for it that's just wrong. we have these IDs , they should be enough. It's more that they want to make it so the physical ones aren't valid anymore for working, renting etc.... it should be a choice, not mandatory

@Hollie_Aimee @KainCreates @daz_black the issue is it's not just that. it's going to be used as a right to work, despite already have NI numbers, passports, driving license etc , you can be REFUSED right to work if you don't have the ID. it's not just to have a digital version to carry with u.

@KainCreates @daz_black Having a digital ID would be so you don't have to carry your drivers licence around with you all the time. The government has all of this information already. It would be a government run site. You're not uploading your information to any old website.
